We’re back and we’re live!

Good day to you all and welcome back to The Ultimate Goals for the 2024/25 season, which now resumes following the conclusion of September’s international break. With roughly a month’s worth of fixtures across our chosen leagues now complete, we’re excited about the prospect of re-establishing this uniquely fantastic game.

After a couple of quite onerous and problematic years in regard to time, funding and the day to day running of the website, the plan is to take some ‘baby steps’ and gradually get the game up and running once more. As you familiarise yourselves with the website again, you may notice that certain features and functions aren’t present or working in quite the same way as you remember, but we can assure you we will be aiming to have the site fully restored as soon as possible.

Some of you will already be aware but, for those of you who aren’t, we have been running a series of ‘test’ gameweeks in a bid to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible ready for the off…..and we’re delighted to say that time is NOW! That’s right, gameweek 1 is upon us, ready and waiting for you.

So please get plotting your tactics, submitting your teams when you’ve narrowed down your shortlists and back into the habit of starting the gameweek full of hope, but ending it head in hands as the full time results come through, clinging on to the faint hope of a 97th minute goal saving the day for you. Only this game can toy with your emotions in so many ways!
